According to ISO regulations, when inserting the movement of CNC machine tools, a right-handed rectangular coordinate system is used; the coordinate axis parallel to the main axis is defined as the z-axis, and the axis around x , the rotation coordinates of the y and z axes are A, B and C respectively. The movement spindle table of each coordinate axis can also be completed by the movement of the tool, but the direction is based on the movement direction of the tool relative to the workpiece. Usually five-axis linkage refers to the linear interpolation motion of any 5 coordinates in x, y, z, A, B, and C. In other words, five axes refer to the three moving axes of x, y, and z plus any two rotating axes. The five-axis is divided into the following categories according to the different swing arrangements of the linkage shaft.
1. Worktable cradle type: Based on the basis of the traditional three-axis machining center, plus a cradle-type workbench, the workpiece is shaken to become a 3+2 five-axis simultaneous machining center. The linkage axis is X / Y / Z / A / C, and the B axis does not rotate in the direction of the Y axis.
2. Vertical spindle double swing head: There is generally an electric spindle with a loose broach structure in the center of the swing head, so the size of the double swing head itself is not easy to make small, plus the demand for the range of motion of the double swing head, so the double swing head The processing range of the five-axis linkage machine tool with the head structure should not be too small, but the shorter the better, generally the gantry type or the moving beam gantry type. The linkage axis is X / Y / Z / A / C, and the B axis does not rotate in the direction of the Y axis.
3. Horizontal spindle with double swing heads: five-axis simultaneous with double swing heads based on the structure of the horizontal machining center. The linkage axis is X / Y / Z / B / C, and the A axis does not rotate in the X axis direction.
4. Worktable swinging type: After the direct drive motor matures, the structure of the five-axis simultaneous machining has also been greatly improved. The entire worktable can be double shaken. Now the C-axis direct drive can achieve a certain degree, and achieve the effect of turning. The linkage axis is X / Y / Z / B / C, and the A axis does not rotate in the X axis direction.
5. Shaking of the main shaft of the worktable: According to the evolution of the shaking mechanism, the worktable and the main shaft are shaken separately to form a combination. The linkage axis is X / Y / Z / A / C, and the B axis does not rotate in the direction of the Y axis.
